Walk Of Art > 23.10.2004
| Combine sequins, feathers, glitter and some celebrity magic with the phenomenon of the UGG® Australia sheepskin boots and its possible to bring comfort to thousands of children. |
UGG® Australia has harnessed the good will and desire it has generated over the past year to create the Walk of Art™ programme in aid of the NSPCC – Full Stop campaign.
Celebrities including David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Winslet, Blue, Denise Van Outen, Will Young, Dannii Minogue, Tamzin Outhwaite, June Sarpong, Natalie Imbruglia, Darcey Bussell, Sacha Baron Cohen and Myleene Klass have all let their imaginations run riot along with the nail varnish and crystals to create modern works of art. The boots will be auctioned on-line on lastminute.com throughout November in aid of the NSPCC.
Designs include a piano player, love hearts, tattoo art and some quite serious bling. All boots have been signed by the celebrity designer and UGG® Australia will supply letters of authenticity to each successful bidder.
The NSPCC Full Stop campaign has a single aim – to end cruelty to children. This means creating and sustaining a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential, free from the fear of physical, emotional and sexual abuse and neglect.
All proceeds from the auction will go direct to the NSPCC and we hope the money raised by the Walk of Art™ programme will bring some warmth to children’s lives – just like UGGs do to your feet!
