Imbruglia pleased to escape London bombings

Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia was relieved to flee the aftermath of the terrorist
bombings in London earlier this month (07.07.05), because she was keen to avoid
being affected by the negative energy surrounding the atrocities.
The Torn beauty was fortunate enough to jet off to Sir Richard Branson's
luxurious Caribbean retreat on Necker Island the following day (08.07.05) with
her Silverchair rocker husband Daniel Johns - and she never looked back.
Imbruglia avoided news reports of the tragic events because her delicate
spirituality leaves her vulnerable to bad vibes.
She says, "I know it's selfish but I was glad to be going away the next day.
I was in shock because I do take things on. But you have to get on with your
life.
"If you read too much news, you feel sick. You feel helpless. All you can do
is pray."
