No hint of strife for Daniel and Natalie

It was a show of solidarity from one of
rock'n'roll's most intriguing married couples.
Daniel Johns and Natalie Imbruglia have defied
rumours their marriage is on the rocks by partying together in a Sydney bar.
Imbruglia, who lives in London, has returned
home to spend time with her Newcastle-based husband ahead of his
much-anticipated album release with Silverchair.
The couple spent Friday night on the town,
including taking a water taxi ride from Rose Bay wharf to the inner-city bar and
restaurant precinct at King Street Wharf. They spent hours partying at Cargo
Bar. Looking stylishly matched, and very much together, the star singers, who
married on New Year's Eve, 2003, were happy to mingle.
Imbruglia, whose sleek, short hairstyle is one
of the hot fashion looks of the moment, wore a designer dress teamed with a pair
of bright yellow wedges.
Johns had dressed up for his wife in a blue
suit, but still managed to hold onto his "cool" by untucking part of his shirt.
There has been increasing speculation about the
state of the marriage since Imbruglia was spotted dining in London with
Little Britain star David Walliams, before attending a UK red carpet event
with an unnamed male friend.
Imbruglia returned to Sydney a fortnight ago and
has also been spotted shopping with Johns in a luxury Hermes boutique, before
attending Silverchair's secret warm-up gig at the Gaelic Club in Surry Hills.
