Kylie's blush with bride
Nat's bouquet
January 05, 2004
According to the old wives’
tale Kylie Minogue is certain to marry
soon - because she caught a bride’s bouquet.
The beautiful bunch of blooms belonged to her pop pal
Natalie Imbruglia, who tied the knot
with Daniel Johns, the lead singer of
Aussie rockers Silverchair, on New
Year’s Eve. Kylie was at the ceremony in Queensland, Australia, with her
boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez.
As tradition demands, Natalie threw the bouquet as she left, which fell into
Kylie’s dainty hands.
An onlooker said: “Kylie didn’t rush to grab the flowers, they landed right in
her grasp.
“She was flushed and giggling afterwards.
“She knows all too well the significance of catching the bouquet.”
Kylie and Olivier had jetted to Australia for a romantic ten-day trip. The pop
princess acted as tour guide, taking hunky Olivier to some of her favourite
places back home.
One of the highlights was a visit to cul-de-sac Pin Oak Court in Melbourne —
better known as telly’s Ramsay Street.
Kylie showed Olivier the TV film set where she started her successful showbiz
career — as Charlene in the Aussie soap Neighbours — almost 20 years ago.
The show also propelled Natalie into the limelight — she played Beth Brennan
from 1991 to 94.
After the nostalgia-fest Kylie and Olivier headed to tropical islands north of
Queensland. The couple soaked up the sun on a luxury yacht owned by a record
company executive.
It was from there that they headed to Natalie’s nuptials.
Just how long might it be before Mrs Johns is at Kylie’s wedding?
