Natalie Imbruglia to attract a French film deal
May 16, 2008

She's footloose and fancy free, but Natalie Imbruglia's red-hot effort at the Cannes Film Festival was for the purpose of snaring a deal, not a man.
Clad in a figure-hugging, floor-length gown, the Aussie actress was workin' it for the press pack on the red carpet yesterday - all in promotion for her upcoming film Elise. While the Aussie flick will not be competing for festival honours, it will showcase the film company Goalpost Pictures Australia - with Imbruglia starring as the sexy sweetener of course. It's hoped Imbruglia's popularity will help to stitch up some deals for Elise, an adaptation of Georgia Blain's novel, Closed for Winter.
